ACW POLICIES:
Each staff member at ACW gives its students 100% of their energy, experience and passion -- and expect our actors to put the same effort into improving their craft!Here are some basic guidelines for the school:
ACW is bonded and licensed:
A workshop is not a job interview or audition. The presence of a casting director, agent or manager is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. The intent of the class is solely educational. Attending a workshop is not a way to obtain employment as an actor. Such contact as you may have with a casting director at a workshop rarely results in any further contact with that casting director or any company affiliated with that casting director.
PAYMENT POLICIES:
* Deposits are due before the first class of
every session. The balance is due in full at the first class session.
Late fees will be applied. (Payment plans are also available upon special
request.) All sales are final and non-transferable.
* There are no exchanges or refunds for missed sessions.
* Refunds prior to a session are at the discretion of ACW.
* Returned checks will incur a $35
canceled-check fee.
* Actors will be held financially accountable to their commitment
once they are confirmed via email.
ATTENDANCE POLICIES:
*
Make-up classes will be allowed ONLY when deemed an excused absence: illness or
working in the industry during class (does not apply to 'extra work').
This is at the discrepancy of ACW.
* To make-up their absence, actors will be given a voucher to
attend a comparable class within 6 months from the absence.
* Actors must contact us at least 24 hours in advance to
inform the coach of their absence. If this is not adhered to, actors will
not receive a voucher.
* Actors will only be allowed 2 vouchers in any 4 or 6 week
session, 1 voucher per 2 or 3 week session. Vouchers for 1 night workshops are
the discretion of ACW.
VOUCHER POLICIES:
*
Vouchers do not hold cash value.
They are certificates to attend one night of a comparable class in exchange for
a missed class and cannot be used as a discount for any class.
* To redeem vouchers, actors must reserve a space 48 hours
prior to class. Subject to availability.
* Actors will be confirmed 24 hours prior to the
class.
* Once a voucher is scheduled, it cannot be re-issued. Failure to
attend on a day that is confirmed will result in a forfeit of the voucher.
* No more than 2 vouchers can be used in one particular 4 or 6 week
class session.No more than 1 voucher can be used in one particular 2 or 3 week
session.
* Vouchers are valid for
6 months from issue date and kept on file at ACW.
CREDIT/DISCOUNT POLLICIES:
* 1 night workshop bulk credits are good for 1 year from purchase date and only on 1 night workshops.
* Credit given by ACW for
a canceled class is good for 1 year from purchase date.
* All new student referral discounts will be kept on file at ACW
and can only be used on a multi-week class.
* Actors are responsible for informing ACW when applying credits or discounts at the time of purchase. They cannot be awarded after the purchase is made.
* Special discounts are only valid for classes purchased the day of the special and will not be given to purchases made prior to or after the date of the special.
